What can I Recycle in Flagstaff?

Visit the Recycle By City website to learn everything you need to know about recycling in Flagstaff, including household guides, pick-up schedules, and more.

  • Plastic Recycling

In Flagstaff, you can recycle plastic bottles, jugs, and jars. All other plastics need to go in your trash bin. The numbers you see on plastics, often in a triangle of chasing arrows, do not reflect whether the item is recyclable or not.

  • Glass Recycling

Glass recycling service is available in Flagstaff, but is separate from other materials and do not belong in the normal recycling bin. Residents can add a glass recycling pick-up service to their residence or drop-off materials at several locations around town.

  • Electronics/Hazardous Waste Recycling

Please take items such as batteries, cleaning products, and paint to the Flagstaff Hazardous Products Center to be properly recycled. Drop-off Day events are also held several times yearly to collect certain items.
